Sent in my old leatherman wave for…

Sent in my old leatherman wave for repair as the serrated blade snapped. Informed leatherman that I didn’t want a replacement tool as it was a gift with a lot of sentimental value. Not only did they replace the serrated knife, they changed the standard blade the diamond file the saw put new screw driver bits in even the eyeglasses bit was replaced and to top it off they changed the pliers for the new style pliers with removable cutters, same chassis and scissors though so retained its sentimental value. So refreshing to have a company that still looks after its customers. Absolutely top draw service that quite frankly makes me smile every time I use it now.

Mind blown ????!!!!
I recently sent in my original Leatherman Wave ( 20th anniversary) to get my serrated blade replaced and straight blade replaced that I had for 16yrs. I was very impressed on how fast it got returned to me, they even tightened up & cleaned All of the other tools. Leatherman brand stands by their warranty, thanks so much!!!!!

Hi Everyone
My son gave me a Leatherman wave for Christmas in 1999.
I have used this brilliant tool almost everyday since. Sadly the other week it broke, a handle snapped which rendered the pliers unusable.
I remembered that Leatherman gives a 25 year warranty on their tools so I sent off my 22 year old Wave for repair.
Absolutely Brilliant
I sent it off on the Monday and I received a brand new Wave + in the post on Saturday the same week.
On quibble, no fuss, no problems.
If only other companies would take a leaf out if their customer service book.

Your simply the best!

I have got the Leatherman Wave (2019) as a gift over a year ago from a great friend of mine. I have been using this Leatherman Wave at least twice a day since I have it. Leatherman products have an awesome build quality and are made to carry with you wherever you're going. The small pocket for pocket watches on jeans is ideal to carry the Leatherman Wave in.
I would absolutely recommend almost anyone to always wear a Leatherman with them.
This is the best multitool I have ever had!

Will no longer be buying Leatherman

Customer service leaves much to be desired. My second time ordering from Leatherman.com and will be my last. I placed an order for several small pieces on clearance sale - two $2 items, two $4 items, two $10 items, two $12 items. Not a huge purchase by any means. Yet, I received a message saying my order wouldn't ship until they spoke with me. When I spoke with someone, I was asked to confirm my address. I then received another call. I was again asked to confirm my address, but this time I was also asked why I was purchasing so many tools, what was my reason for doing so. I was so taken back by the questioning. Why would someone purchase a few $2 and $4 screwdriver/bottle opener keychain attachments? Oh,I don't know...because they were on clearance sale.
I guess I'll be buying all Gerber in the future. Perhaps they'll appreciate the business without treating me like I'm planning some treacherous scheme with a keychain screwdriver.

Fantastic customer service

Broke my Leatherman Fuse after 11 years normal use. Sent it off to tight lines for repair which could not be carried out as the Fuse is no longer available. The Fuse was immediately replaced with a new similar product within several days. Absolutely fantastic customer service and true too warranty agreement. Nice one Leatherman and tight lines.

The after sales service is excellent

The after sales service is excellent. They replaced in a few days a knife with a broken blade that I had had for 20 years and it was even possible for me to have it repaired if I wanted. I really appreciated. Thank you!

Don't order direct

First off, I like Leatherman products. Any individual tool on one of their multi-tools will not be the best example of such a tool, but they don't need to be. The appeal to me is that I can carry fewer tools, and have access to most of what I need.
The issue for me comes from ordering direct from Leatherman. After placing my last order, which included two multi-tools, and several bit sets, etc., I received a call from their customer service department. It seems that I tripped some kind of upper limit, and they were wondering why I had placed such a 'large' order. It was very off-putting, and it made me feel as if I had done something wrong.
They never adequately explained why it is that they were questioning me, but did release the order. I am undecided as to whether I will ever order another Leatherman tool, but I will certainly not order direct from them.

Been a leatherman multi tool user since…

Been a leatherman multi tool user since 1989..so far good quality and durable.. Have not tried using its customer service but saw some bad reviews given by other Leatherman users.. For me Its very important for a good product to also have good after sales customer service... Coz people will not be happy and satisfied with a product, service or company that does not stand up to its good name...

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service. I made a phone call to them to inquire about a delayed order and the person who I spoke to was half asleep and just kept telling me to look at the banner on USPS' site detailing shipping delays. She was one of the rudest people I have ever interacted with. When I asked to speak with a manager, it went to an unnamed voicemail. I left a message and emailed the service and they did not respond.
